Murighiol is reachable by road, about 40 km (a 45-minute drive) from the town of Tulcea, on a paved road. It is one of the few Delta villages you can reach directly by car, without a ferry.
What can I visit in the Danube Delta from Murighiol?
From Murighiol you easily set off by boat towards Uzlina and Isac lakes, towards the pelican and egret colonies, through channels full of water lilies. Nearby you also find Lake Murighiol (a salt lake), fishing spots and bird-watching points.
